Prior to the construction of the Parkway East/I-376, the building addresses would have been on Water Street which was adjacent to the Monongahela Warf. An historic view appears on Historic Pittsburgh, 715.275591.CP, showing how the area looked in 1927 with many of the same buildings standing.
