  • The photo shows a path along the top of the slag dump, called “Brown’s Dump,” off Browns Hill Road before construction on the Summerset at Frick Park residential development began in 2001. Slag was dumped from the 1920s to the 1970s, and the site sat abandoned after dumping stopped.
