Description
A letter from A.B. McSwigan of Kennywood to Vernon D. Platt of Somerton Springs, asking about their implementation of a membership system for the pool. McSwigan asks about practicalities concerning waiting periods and how visitors deemed "undesirable" can be kept from using the pool. Creating a membership system was a method organizations used to exclude non-white patrons from their swimming pools during the mid-20th century.
