Description
A letter from Edward L. Schott of Coney Island, Inc. in Ohio to A.B. McSwigan of Kennywood. Schott mentions an article in the Pittsburgh Courier about Stan Kenton's performance at Coney Island. He references the difficulties caused by the "racial problem" at Coney Island that summer, a time during which civil rights activists demand the park end its policy of segregation. He also refers to rumors about a snake at Kennywood that are common to the amusement park business.
