  • The damage caused by the Great Fire of 1872 in Somerset, Pennsylvania. A wide area of the damage is shown, and many buildings & structures have been almost completely leveled. Men can be seen tending to the damage of the fire with hand tools. Most of the buildings have been reduced to rubble, some with exterior walls still standing.
