  • An advertisement for an aluminum bat prototype made by Alcoa featuring Roberto Clemente kneeling in the on-deck circle. This advertisement was one of Alcoa's "improbable" series of ads that featured aluminum versions of everyday objects. Royal Kane took the image used in this advertisement. The image ran in the Alcoa Aluminum Newsletter and possibly other publications.
