  • View of Point Park University's Lawrence Hall, dedicated to the late David L. Lawrence. Built in 1929, the building was originally occupied by the Keystone Athletic Club Building. It would consecutively be occupied as Hotel Sheraton and then as the Sherwyn Hotel, until it was purchased by Point Park University in 1967. David L. Lawrence was a Pittsburgh-native, former Mayor of Pittsburgh (1946-1959), and former Governor of Pennsylvania (1959-1963). Looking south along Wood Street towards the intersection with Third Avenue.
