  • A mannequin in bridalwear beneath a painted mural. In the late 1940s, Kaufmann's expanded its bridal services to include a wedding consultant who assisted brides-to-be. After the store’s annex expansion in the 1950s, brides could shop for gowns and accessories on the fourth floor and register for gifts on the seventh floor.
