Description
The Farmers Bank building in Downtown Pittsburgh after an explosion. The image was taken from Fifth Avenue, close to the intersection of Wood Street. According to the Pittsburgh Press in August of 1926, the Farmers Deposit National Bank was bombed during an attempted robbery. Farmers Deposit National Bank was acquired by Union Trust Company around 1928.
