Description
Exhibition at Westinghouse's East Pittsburgh Works of a 135 ton-electric locomotive to the International Railway Congress. The 1350 horsepower single phase freight locomotive was the first alternating current locomotive developed for use in the United States. George Westinghouse can be seen among the crowd.
