Description
A view of the rose granite obelisk in front of the PPG Place building (1984). Designed by John Burgee Architects and Philip Johnson (who also designed PPG Place itself) the obelisk stands at 44 feet in height. In the winter the obelisk is covered with a large Christmas tree, and the courtyard/fountain area is converted into an ice rink.
