Description
View of Philip Brunn's lumber yard in the Ingomar section of Town of McCandless, Allegheny County, PA. Located on the western side of the Harmony Line tracks, the business was established in the early 1920s to serve the needs of the local oil and gas industry, which used rough hemlock to build derricks. The railroad right of way later became Harmony Drive. Shown as they appeared in the 1950s, none of the lumber company buildings survive. View is looking east from Valley Road. Several automobiles are parked near the structures. A light layer of snow covers the ground.
