Description
Blanche Jordan Jae represents the family of James Jordan (1760-1844), who served in the 2nd New Jersey Regiment of the Continental Army. In 1801 James and his wife Margaret moved to Plum Township (later Monroeville) in Allegheny County Pennsylvania to settle on 180 acres in the Queen Drive area near the McCully farm and to raise a family. Their descendants stayed in the area through several generations.
