Description
With the rise of the automobile, roadhouses sprang up to cater to the traveling public, a role Rising Sun Inn had fulfilled in the earliest days. Allan Behler’s La Barbe Restaurant began as an open-sided barbeque stand in the 1920s, and today it remains a Monroeville fixture on its original site along the Old William Penn Highway.
