The distinctive Old Stone Church, gleaming in the sun on its small island of green, still looks serenely down on modern urbanized Monroeville all around it; a poignant reminder of a simpler times. Built in 1896, for many years this inspiring church on the hill served as a place of worship for the Crossroads Presbyterian congregation.
