View looking north onto the Township Road after its split with Evergreen Plank Road, seen on right of photo. Photo circa 1900, prior to road improvement. This is the location of the current McKnight Road and I-279 intersection on Pittsburgh's North Side, Allegheny County, PA. A small wood sign advertising Kaufmanns Pittsburgh's Largest Store is attached to a fence. Fire hydrant is seen along Evergreen Plank Road.
