Description
View of Evergreen Plank Road and Township Road (renamed Nelson Run Road) split at Allegheny City and Reserve Township municipal boundary, Allegheny County, PA circa 1900. Looking north toward Ivory Avenue whose homes can be seen across center of photo. Evergreen Plank (renamed Peoples Plank Road) continues northeast with the township road following a northwest course. The brick Shuck residence and fenced yard stands on east side of intersection. Gallagher and Fisher residences are visible on west side of Township Road. Fire hydrant visible to left of road. Current location of I-279 on Pittsburgh's North Side.
