Description
Progress Photograph Number 21 of the William Penn Hotel. The hotel was designed by Janssen and Abbot and the construction engineer was James L. Stuart. The steel beams seem to be completely free-standing at this point. The People's Gas Company building is in the background. There are two progress photographs taken on March 1, 1915 (200801.18.WP and 200801.19.WP).
