Beth Abraham Congregation was established in the Hill District of Pittsburgh in 1888 by Russian immigrants. Several years after its organization, the cemetery was established on the hillside along Route 51. The congregation disbanded in 1906 and since then has functioned exclusively as a cemetery association.
The Beth Abraham Cemetery Association Records consist of three volumes. The volumes contain, variously, accounts of individuals and daily ledger entries. They are primarily in Yiddish, although there are some records in English.
