Description
George D. Hall worked for Lyon, Shorb & Company’s Saint Louis store. The store, known as the Sligo Iron Store Company, was a four-story brick office and warehouse located at North Second Street. The store sold a variety of goods including blacksmiths’ and machinists’ supplies, carriage trimmings, paints, varnishes, and iron and steel products. The Sligo Iron Store Company employed approximately 100 people and sold products to the West, Northwest, and Southwest portions of the United States.
