  • An early tin mill crew at the Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation’s Aliquippa Works. From left to right are L.H. Pyle, Assistant Superintendent; Ted McGinley, roller; Thomas Reese, Hot Mill Foreman; Fred Auberly, roller; Clyde Curran, millwright foreman; B.F. Ross, Superintendent. This crew turned out approximately 20,000 lbs of 30 gage tin, two of the largest turns ever produced in a tin mill.
