Description of the model (pictured on table) reads, “THIS MODEL shows the principal steps involved in the production of Electricity from nuclear fuel, which will be utilized at the nation’s first full-scale atomic power plant at Shippingport, Pa. In cooperation with the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission, Duquesne Light Company will build the conventional portion and Westinghouse Electric Corporation will build the nuclear portion of the plant. Duquesne will operate the entire plant.”
