Description
The Duquesne Works of United States Steel following the start-up of a new cleaning plant – first ever built to eliminate man-made clouds from the atmosphere. The sky above the plant is now clear of the clouds of smoke that had polluted the air prior to the activation of the cleaning system. The installation of cleaning plants such as these were part of an ongoing effort to clean up the notoriously smoky atmosphere in and around Pittsburgh.
