Description
Raccoon Creek State Park in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, originally was a recreational demonstration area of the United States federal government. In 1945 over 5,000 acres of this area were transferred to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which became the basis for the state park. The primary activities at the Park were boating, swimming, fishing, camping, and hiking.
