Description
The Dravosburg Bridge, officially known as the W.D. Mansfield Memorial Bridge, was built by the County of Allegheny in 1951. The bridge spans the Monongahela River and connects West Fifth Avenue in McKeesport to Richard Avenue in Dravosburg. The divided four-lane cantilever through truss bridge has a total length (including longest elevated ramp) of 1,931 feet with the vertical clearance of the deck at 65.3 feet. The bridge, sometimes referred to as the Glassport-Dravosburg Bridge, replaced a low-level bridge that linked McClure Street in Dravosburg to John Street in McKeesport.
