Description
The William S. Moorhead Federal Office Building is located at the intersection of Grant Street (left) and Liberty Avenue (right) in downtown Pittsburgh. The building replaced the old Greyhound Bus Station, which moved to 11th Street between Penn and Liberty Avenues, a few blocks away. The office building was designed by Altenhof and Bown in 1964 and was criticized by some as “having no impact on the city whatsoever.”
