  • The Bigelow Apartments opened in February 1952 on the site of the 100-year old Saint Mary’s Convent. The apartments, which were for some time a prestige address in the city, were completed in 1959 by Nathaniel P. Kann. They were subsequently sold, and are known today as the Ramada Plaza Suites & Conference Center.
