Description
Margery Anna Boyd Robertson (1912-2004). Administrative employee of Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. Daughter of Charles N. Boyd, Pittsburgh educator, organist and musicologist. Robertson talks about her childhood growing up with her father Charles N. Boyd, a major figure in the history of music in Pittsburgh; growing up as a neighbor to the Earharts, and Will Earhart, the director of music in Pittsburgh Public Schools and close personal friend of her father's; attending music concerts; her father's busy music schedule; and the Pittsburgh Musical Institute, the music school her father helped to found.
