Frazier Parrish discusses long-standing Colored families in the Pittsburgh area, such as the Law, Board, Allen, and Burwell families. Parrish mentions the Second Baptist Church in Beaver Falls and Rochester as the oldest Colored churches. He also mentions that barbershops were the only businesses present when Parrish arrived to the area.
