Description
Businesses along the west side of the 2100 block of Murray Avenue include Mineo’s Pizza House, Nu Style Unique Clothing and Accessories, Chahine Bakery Middle East Foods, Apple T-Shirt Co., and Charles Catering and Gourmet. A house can be seen behind Nu Style. Murray Avenue was once lined with houses. When the business district grew, the houses that weren’t demolished had stores built onto the front of them. The building housing Apple T-Shirt Co. and Charles Catering was originally a car dealership, as attested by it being set back from the street so cars could park in front of it.
