  • A hand-colored photograph of the construction crew breaking ground for the current St. Luke's Lutheran Church in West View. After a roof fire caused by a discarded firecracker damaged the building beyond repair and a new church was needed for the congregation. The current church was dedicated on September 8, 1928.
