  • Fire fighters and Kennywood workers congregate to extinguish fire ravaging the Ghost Ship. The fire destroyed the ride and several other nearby attractions. The Ghost Ship was the final of four themed dark rides to occupy the old Dance Hall building, constructed in 1898.
