Description
Main Street after the flood of 1889 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This picture was taken on top of a large pile of wooden debris and there are men standing on the debris. The Merchant Hotel is seen on the left. Two buildings on the left are restaurants and a Bon-Ton near them. To the right there is a building marked "Green & Marx". Houses are in the background further down the street.
