Description
Laborers cleaning up near the corner of Franklin and Main Street after mass destruction of buildings due to the flood of 1889 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. A singular building remains in this area of town behind the locals but it has also suffered damage. An immense amount of rubble is scattered all along the ground, including parts of a house to the left of the image.
