Description
A collage of images of damaged buildings after the flood in Johnstown, Pennsylvania in 1889. One image shows a body being passed through a window at the temporary morgue at the Adams Street school. Another shows two men walking along Main Street amongst the debris after the flood. A photo labeled "Native Talent" features two boys trying to play a ruined piano. There is a photo labeled "View of Johnstown after flood from Pine Hill.," actually was taken from Cover Hill. This photo features a lone man sitting on a fence looking out at the city.
