Description
An image of Lake Jawejo used by campers at Camp Johnson. Located in Raccoon Creek State Park in Beaver County, Camp Johnson was a "fresh air" camp for African American children in the Western Pennsylvania area. The camp was named after NAACP leader James Weldon Johnson and was open from 1939 until 1967.
