Description
Clark Black Jack Caramels. First produced as penny candy by the D. L. Clark Company, Black Jack caramels were sold by the company through at least the mid-1970s. Black Jack Caramels were a blend of three different flavors- artificial cherry, vanilla, and licorice. Through at least the 1950s, the branding and packaging of Clark Black Jack Caramels included a depiction of a minstrel in blackface playing a banjo.
