  • Rodef Shalom Congregation’s sanctuary originally seated 1,100 on the main floor and an additional 350 in the balcony. Dark wainscoting and original menorah-shaped wooden chandeliers ornament the massive space. The sanctuary organ was installed in 1907 and electrified in 1929; it is the largest Kimball organ of its type still in use. The sanctuary was restored in 1990.
