Description
The McCully Log House is among the oldest structures in Monroeville. In Colonial times, the Widow Miers, proprietor of a trading post at the mouth of the Turtle Creek, purchased some 300 acres of land in what would become today’s Monroeville. In 1810, that land was sold to one John McCully, and the log house was probably built there at about that time.
