Description
A three man and one woman doo wop group playing at Kay Boys Club in the Hill. Doo Wop is a style of music (ca. 1950-1960) that is defined as a form of R&B based harmony vocalizing using phonetic or nonsense syllables (like a repeated 'doo-wop') for rhythm and intricate harmonic arrangements. In this group the men are wearing double-breasted jackets and pants, the woman is wearing an evening gown and has flowers in her hair and around her neck. Clothing style dates to ca. 1950-1960.
