Here boxing greats Joe Louis (1914-1982) and his Pittsburgh opponent Billy Conn (1917-1993), having a chat at the Courier office on Fifth Avenue in Pittsburgh. In 1941 Conn was the World Light-Heavyweight champion when he first fought Louis, the World Heavyweight champion. Conn was winning for 13 rounds when he attempted to knock Louis out.
