Description of the photograph reads, “A rendering looking down the Mall of Penn Park toward the tall towers of Pittsburgh’s existing Golden Triangle. Present structures are easily identifiable in the background. This concept emphasizes the openness of the plant, the colorful pavements of the plazas, the reflection pools, together with the contoured terraces from which there are views of the Mall and the Allegheny River.”
