Description
The Pittsburgh Concrete Step Project included the construction of 27 miles of concrete steps in the city. The new steps replaced old wooden ones that were used primarily by pedestrians to reach areas on steep hills. The concrete steps pictured are located at East Ohio Street at 31st Street and lead to Troy Hill at the top and Route 28 at the bottom.
