Description
Banksville Circle was located at the northern end of Banksville Road emerging from the South Hills suburb of Pittsburgh. This photograph shows the circle before development of the West End Bypass, the Fort Pitt Tunnels, and the Parkway West. The road to the left is Woodville Street leading to the West End section of Pittsburgh. At the top of the hill in the background is Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington neighborhood.
