  • The Etna-Sharpsburg Bypass with Etna on the left and Sharpsburg on the right. The bridge in the right center of the photograph is the 62nd Street or Senator Robert D. Fleming Bridge. The Etna-Sharpsburg Bypass was constructed by Latrobe Road Construction, Inc. of Latrobe, Pennsylvania. More than 150 men, including engineers and laborers worked on this project. Construction began in 1956 and was completed on October 22, 1958.
