Description
The intersection of Fifth Avenue and North Bouquet Street in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The Public Health Building would soon occupy the area to the left of North Bouquet Street (Sport Center Grill) in 1957. This building, along with forty others, constitute the University of Pittsburgh’s Health Center, one of the world’s most concentrated medical complexes. Today, this structure houses the Graduate School of Public Health, which integrates its facilities and resources with a variety of other graduate programs, such as anthropology, biochemistry, sociology, psychology, engineering, business administration, social work, public and international affairs, history, education, computer science, and law.
