Description
A dramatic contrast between the old and the new, three gleaming new chrome-alloyed steel skyscrapers, the first buildings in Gateway Center, rise behind the Fort Pitt Blockhouse, constructed in 1764 by Colonel Henry Bouquet. The Blockhouse, the oldest structure in Pittsburgh, is today a major attraction at Point State Park.
