Description
Seen from the North Side section of Pittsburgh, the chrome-alloyed steel exteriors of the first three Gateway Center buildings gleam in the afternoon sunlight. In the center is the new State Office Building, which was to become one of several additional buildings comprising Gateway Center. The area along the Monongahela River to the right of the buildings was to become Point State Park. At center right the old wooden ramp that led to the Manchester and Point Bridges is visible.
