Description
Built in 1913 from a contribution by A.W. Mellon and R. B. Mellon, this building is the original home of the Mellon Institute. It was dedicated in 1915 and renamed Allen Hall in memory of A. J. Allen in 1969. The building is now home to the Physics and Astronomy Department.
