Thaw Lens on Grinding Table at Brashear's Shop. The Thaw Memorial Telescope. At 30 Inches, it was the Third Largest Refractor in the United States. William Thaw Junior, in Memory of His Father, (William Thaw Senior) Donated the Funds for its Construction.
